Initial intake Session

It’s first date time!

This is our first official session! We’ll dive in fully on what brought you to therapy, your goals, and what we will work on. Check out the section below for details on what to expect.


Following the initial intake, we will decide whether to continue with traditional 50-minute sessions or opt for therapy intensives that last either 3 or 6 hours.  We will develop a plan defining strategies that will help you reach your goals. The frequency and duration of sessions will depend on the selected therapy model. Each model offers various packages and payment plans; for more information, explore our Therapy Packages and Therapy Intensives Packages. I also offer a Narcissistic Abuse Recovery program; you can find additional information about it HERE.

All services are provided online via a secure video platform, providing convenience and flexibility by eliminating travel and time constraints for busy clients.

My therapeutic approach blends various evidence-based techniques like CBT, DBT, EMDR, Mindfulness, along with my specialized training in trauma-informed recovery from narcissistic abuse.  This allows me to tailor my expertise to your unique needs, especially for healing from toxic relationships.

This journey into therapy can evoke excitement and nervousness, especially for first timers.

Here's a brief outline of what to expect in your first session and how to prepare. *Keep in mind some things may vary*

  • Expect a welcome email with instructions for intake paperwork.

  • Complete the paperwork 24 hours before your first appointment to receive your session link.

  • The first session lasts 70 minutes for paperwork, therapy reasons, goals, family history, etc.

  • Ensure a stable internet connection and a private, comfortable space.

  • Use headphones if others are nearby.

  • Payment is automatically collected post-session (card must be on file).
