  • Toxic Relationship Therapy is a specialized service designed to help women recover from the emotional and mental strain and/or learn how to effectively manage toxic connections.

    Whether it’s a romantic partner, a family member, or a close friend, this therapy focuses on:

    • Recognizing unhealthy patterns.

    • Rebuilding self-esteem and boundaries.

    • Relationship management strategies for those who wish to maintain the connection.

    • Equipping you with tools to foster healthier relationships moving forward.

    I help my clients rediscover their peace, self-worth, and resilience by equipping them with the REAListic tools they need to shift out of being trapped in toxic cycles and into creating the fulfilling relationships they deserve.

  • A toxic relationship is characterized by a dynamic in which one or both individuals exhibit behaviors that negatively affect the emotional health, self-esteem, and overall happiness of the relationship. Key traits to look for these relationships include but are not limited to negative coping strategies (eg. silent treatment) and harmful communication patterns (eg. threats of violence). This could even include behaviors of being controlling, manipulating, or abusive.

    It’s all about how interactions with this person leave you feeling… drained or unhappy? In short, if it feels more harmful than supportive, it’s likely toxic.

  • I don’t take insurance, BUT your out-of-network benefits might cover therapy! I work with Mentaya - a company that can get you reimbursed 50-80% for therapy using your out of network benefits.

    • Intake Session (1st Session): $200 (70 minutes)

    • Individual Therapy: $175 (50 minutes)

  • Therapy sessions are designed to:

    • Explore your relationship history to identify patterns and triggers.

    Sessions are trauma-informed and tailored to your specific needs, ensuring you feel supported rather with traditional 50-minute sessions or Therapy Intensives.

  • Not necessarily. While leaving a toxic relationship is often the goal for many of my clients, I understand that leaving isn’t always immediately possible.

    Believe it or not, it is not the always goal either, many of my clients wanted realistic strategies to manage the relationship while maintaining and protecting their peace.

    This therapy will help you:

    • Assess the relationship objectively.

    • Create and enforce boundaries to protect your emotional health.

    • Master effective communication techniques and relationship management hacks.

    • Develop a plan for your well-being, whether you end the relationship or not.

  • The healing process is not one size fits all, it’s different for everyone.  Some factors that play a key role in the healing process are the length of the relationship, the level of emotional impact, past trauma history, and your commitment to therapy.

    Many clients find significant progress within a few months and often decide to continue therapy for continued support and growth.  While others meet their goals faster with Therapy Intensives and continue a maintenance schedule of therapy based on what we decide upon.  This is one of the perks of private pay because there are no restrictions from insurance companies. We work together to tailor your care because the key to healing is to go at your own pace.

  • Therapy intensives and traditional therapy sessions both help you heal and grow, but they work in different ways:

    Therapy Packages

    BEST FOR: Ongoing healing and steady growth over time.

    SESSION FORMAT: Weekly or biweekly 50-minute sessions.

    PROGRESS PACE: Gradual progress over time.

    CUSTOMIZATION: Guided but flexible, adapting as you progress.

    WHEN TO CHOOSE IT? If you want weekly or bi-weekly support and want to experience progress at a slower pace.

    Therapy Intensives

    BEST FOR: Deep healing, rapid breakthroughs, and major shifts in a in a short timeframe.

    SESSION FORMAT: Choose 3 or 6-hour therapy sessions with pre- and post-session support. Tailor them for a one-time experience or as a regular monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly therapy approach.

    PROGRESS PACE: Accelerated, focused transformation…think traditional therapy on steroids.

    CUSTOMIZATION: Highly structured and impactful, yet tailored to your specific needs.
